Thank you to three friends who unwittingly pulled me out of my mobage hellhole so that I can write this blog post.

Girls Band Party! mobile game and hololive’s crew of VTubers, who seem to be collectively channeling the best of Nico Nico Douga from its glory days of yore (also helps that VTubers are essentially reincarnations of Nico Nico streamers).
